How we verify pixel art facts
We verify install guidance against primary sources before we publish. For this pixel art site that means GitHub Releases asset names, LICENSE.txt, SECURITY.md, README feature claims, and package index searches for winget and Homebrew.
Commands and files
We only document package manager commands that resolve upstream. When a search returns nothing, we say not found and keep the zip path. We list zip contents so extract instructions stay honest.
Updates
The site fetch refreshes release metadata. Humans re-read RESEARCH.md when tags move or when a package id appears later. lastVerified in site config is the human review date.
Corrections
If a step is wrong, contact us with the page URL, the tag you used, and what you saw. We fix the research file first, then the page.
